The seminars that the technical sales team do are funky. Been to a few and they seem to manage to flump their way through the seminars making a few mistakes here and there.
Good job to basically learn the software inside and out. Especially if thats what you do anyway additional bonus getting paid for it.
the culture sounds like a a company I worked for for a while called Genient who had a games room.
If you needed to stay til 11:00 on a Friday night you did but if there was nothing to do you could go to the games room.
So pros and cons. London got to me though so moved out
not really…they actually are on separate ends…with MM dominating the web department…and Adobe dominating image processing. You will find that most design shops are neither 100% adobe or 100% MM. The actually compete against each other in only one department really and that is vector graphics. And I would technically call that a tie between Ill and FH. I have been using both and each has strengths. Fireworks is great also but pales when it comes to PS but it is gaining ground with 04.
You need both to be successful and maintain a job.
