Alright, my overall goal is to make a fully flash powered + xml + php blog system. I want nothing to do with databases, for personal reasons (they scare me).
I’ve been thinking really hard about this for the past couple of days, and I can’t seem to think of somthing that would work perfectly for everything that i need to get out of it. I’m trying to make an XML format that would be suitable to hold all the data of one blog entry, and would be 100% compatible with flash. That means, I need features like bold text, italics, insert images, videos etc. I think I got the images, movies and galleries under control. But the bold and italics will be a little hard (I think?). Has anyone ever made an xml blog with bold and italics features, and would be willing to share it with me. If not, I’m sure I can work it out in a few days, and I’ll post my results, but it’s always nice to have some harmless help.
