Allo allo everyone.
Well i finally got my new laptop, its an Asus F3Jv yadayada, and am very happy with it. Anyway, i was thinking of getting a wireless keyboard and mouse to leave on my desk at home, with a larger 19" screen, so when i come home, i can plug the laptop into the power and the screen, and use the bigger keyboard and mouse etc. Now the laptop has bluetooth, so i was thinking would it be wise to get a bluetooth mouse and keyboard.
Would it be unreasonable to imagine, that i could just put the laptop down, press a magical button, and hey pretso, the keyboard and mouse are connected and ready to go? I guess it would mean 1 less thing to plug in, as now i have the monitor cable, the AC cable, and the RJ45 cable. and i only dont really want half of my usb ports being tied up just with the mouse and keyboard.
Ive had a look at bluetooth keyboard/mouse combos, and all i can really find is the logitech MX5000 and the Microsoft Optical Desktop Elite. There are a few other microsoft ones, but they re ergonomic, and i dont want that nonsense.
Is there are reason why there arent more bluetooth products on the market? ive read a few reviews saying they have disconnections regularly, and some the complete opposite.
So yeah, looking for some inputs from anyone and everyone.
Thanks
