In my opinion either bring the thorny branches up a bit or bring down Brian Leiter down a bit n also slightly to the left. Soft BG music can be a good addition. Overall, it’s a good site.
I agree with what peace sadi about the layout.
If your host supports php then I’d suggest implementing a php email form so that your viewers can send you emails instantly, afterall there are some people out there who don’t know how to use an email app or email site i.e hotmail.
Overall your site is good but I’m not keen on the tiny spaces you’ve allocated to the content.
