Bringing xml into flash 8

for a dvd presentation I’m making a photo gallery with help from a kirupa tutorial, and everything works fine until I replace the tutorial .jpgs with my own.
The .fla, the images.xml file and the .jpgs referenced in the .xml file are all in the same folder on my hardrive; “images.xml” is the name used to call the file in actionscript. This returns this message: Error opening URL “file:///Macintosh%20HD/Users/jeannehilary/Desktop/TV/EDEN%20PR/CATALOGUE/IMG/undefined”

this is the first time I’m doing this–can anyone tell me what the problem is?

but would LOve to hear how the problem worked out… i am having exactly the same issue, have verified the list and have changed nothing ,

hi, i had the same problem… i think i renamed all the image file names and also saved the xml as a different name too. Just had to do a bit of fiddling around and it worked! Don’t forget to change the name in the fla file. :slight_smile:
