So yea… I’ve been gettin crazy requests to get my bcard out here lately so I figured I’d put the one sending out to print up. Few things about the card:
There is no predefined front or back.
80% smaller than a regular card.
Text size is 6pt type and legible on print (screen distorts the clarity of type).
2 colors: blue, and blacks (3 shades of 1 black).
Basic description: The pink card shows the UV print. What UV print does is it’s an extreme gloss, that enhances the color that it’s applied to, when moved in light it’s extremely reflective. It also gives a sort of emboss to what it’s applied to, without the negative effects of ‘indenting’ the opposite side of the card, leaving it flat. It also has a sort of tac to it so you can feel the difference in the texture. However, UV print is very expensive and not cost effective.
Paper stock is mattee, 120lbs cover stock.
Anyway… comments and suggestions are welcome, as this hasn’t gone to print yet for mass production.
