Building a Gaming PC

Yeah, I know there’s been quite a few threads along this theme recently, but I’d be interested in any feedback on my particular plan. :hitman:

I have a reasonable budget (~£1000 maybe), but I’m also trying to save money where possible, so I hope I haven’t cut any corners which will be a problem down the line.

CPU
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 (G0 Stepping)
Freezer 7 Pro HSF

Motherboard
EVGA NF680i SLI
(SLI for later upgrade, RAID, tons of SATA Ports, apparently a good overclocker (might have a go at some point down the line))

Graphics
Nvidia Geforce 8800 GTX

RAM
4GB Corsair 2x2GB PC2-6400 (800MHz)

PSU
Tagan 800W (TG-800-U33)

Case
ANTEC Nine Hundred

Hard Drives
160GB Hitachi, 8MB Cache
x3 In RAID 5

Monitor
Neovo 22” H-W22 V2

DVD
Samsung basic SATA DVD Writer

Also, this will be my fist time building a PC, although I think I’m as prepared as anyone who’s never done it before. Is there anything i will neeed to be careful of or remember?

Thanks for looking
