this is my first post in this forum. thanks in advance to those of you who can help with my question! 
basically this is the situation…i would like to make buttons where when the mouse cursor goes over the button, an animation appears elsewhere. I know i can do this by putting a movie clip within the button in the over state, but, i would like it so that the animation is still visible even after the mouse cursor goes outside of the button. then, when a person moves their mouse cursor on another button, that button’s animation will appear and so on.
An example of this that i found is at www.triangle-group.com. when you put your mousecursor over one of the buttons, you see that the animation plays, but when u put your mouse cursor out of it…the animation is still there until you hit another button.
how will i be able to do this?
