Can Flash do voice recording?

I want to do a web which allow user to do recording. Can flash do that ?

I think flash alone cant do that…

I personally havent come across any examples of voice recording with the mic input, but that doesn’t mean u cant do it. I guess if it is possible as3 would be the answer - seems to do a lot of things i never thought possible(andre michelle has some interesting examples on his blog - very cool for a guy that has “left the scene”)

You can record sound and play it back later with either Flash Media Server (£££) or Red5 (Free!)

I read that Microsoft Speech Server can do that. But it seem very big & expensive. :crying:
