My car didn’t pass inspection 
If you take a look at the attachment, you’ll see that the rear lights are tinted.
They said that’s against regulations and that I have to scrape it off. :fight:
I dug into some laws and the only thing I found about this subject is that the rear lights’ light intensity has to be between 1-17cd (min. 10cd for brake lights).
The inspection regulations don’t list a measuring device that has to be used when determining the light intensity but I really don’t like the idea of this ‘visual inspection’.
I’m pretty positive that the light intensity is enough and I’m even more positive that his visual inspection skills on a bright sunny day aren’t objective enough to be able to measure the light intensity in cds :{
The document they gave me just states that the light intensity is against regulations. All would be well if there were also some numbers that prove it
And this car has passed inspection before… (not in my possession though)
