Change automated slide show's delay time via XML

Hello.
I read with great interest the tutorial on how to create an automated slideshow (http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx2004/xml_slideshow.htm) and quickly implemented it.

However, I was wondering if anyone had any luck with the following:

  1. Configuring the delay time via the XML file, by adding a <delaytime> element for each image, and removing the delay from the FLA entirely.

  2. having the delay affect EACH photo. each photo would have a different rate of delay based on the <delaytime>.
