I was just wondering if there’s a way to change the frame rate of a movie while the movie is playing.
I’m trying to make a little ‘slow mo’ effect to some of my imported movie clip files. Can I do it? or is it a pipe dream?
why not just change the length of the tweening on the animations slowed down in the movies?

I imported *.mov files into Flash. (should have be clearer, sorry)
Is it possible to tween that?!
I want to show a section of the movie file normal speed, then slow it down, and make it run at a normal frame rate when it reaches a certain point.
Can this be done?
you will probably have a lot more success if you edit the movie in another program to create the slow motion effect, rather than do it by changing the frame rate in flash. i dont do much editing, but i think software from http:///www.ulead.com will do what you are looking for
