Alright folks, here is a new little thing I did in Photoshop last night.
A friend of mine came up to me and asked me to create a wallpaper for his new computer (that apparently has a TV for a monitor at 1280x1024). I graciously agreed and asked him what he would like on it. The only thing he could give me is “I like the chrome look so anything chromish”. He said color, positions, and all that other good stuff doesn’t matter and he didn’t have any specific theme in mind… just “chromish”. Well, I don’t think I did TOO bad with the specifications given :-\
Here are a few things to know before seeing this image.
Hematopoiesis is the formation of blood cells in a living organism.
I haven’t worked in Photoshop for months, so I am VERY rusty.
He liked the wallpaper
Although the overall image is rounded, the pointy edges are supposed to represent needles or pins of some sort… ya know… like pricking yourself. The rest of the “symbolism” is up to you to figure out, I just thought that this one might of been too obscure.
morse: I don’t have BitDust Two installed, and since he didn’t embed it, I can’t see it.
morse again: YOU DON’T LIKE THE SPEECH BUBBLE! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!? LOL, just kidding man. Yeah, I originally had it say something in there, but I didn’t like it, so I replaced it with what you see there. I couldn’t think of anything else to put there and it looked empty without the speech bubble. Any ideas?
