Please I need help with Claudio’s Scroller for the website for our company. I altered Plonker’s horizontal version. And it had worked fine.
There are 5 portraits. Every click it moves one portrait left or right. What I want is to have only the 1st portrait on the left in color at all times and the other 4 black and white. So as you click through the black and white images get swapped to the color versions if they are in the 1st position. I also want it to have information about each person to follow.
I have set up a movie clip (of the information on each person) with multiple frames one frame for each person. I have a frame label for each as well. I’m not sure what to add for the coding on the button releases in the action script. I’m a beginner and am not sure on the usage of variables.
I am stumped as to how to make this work. I did try using the tutorial on Scriptable Masks by Inigo Montoya - but that wasn’t exactly what I wanted.
The images also flicker and I am not sure how to stop it. I had added stops but that didn’t solve it.
To get to the right section. Click on Japanese then Staff.
