"Click to Activate and Use This Control"?

Hey All-

I’m new here so hello.

Here’s my problem. After publishing my Flash movie I get the above message “Click to Activate and Use This Control” on mouse-over like the whole movie is a button until I click it, then the buttons work as normal.

Does anyone know about this? I’ve checked in the publishing options thinking it was something there, but can’t find anything.

look at the very first page of kirupa’s site the very top post is about this issue its titled [U][COLOR=#0000ff]Fixing the Flash/Embed Issue[/COLOR][/U] that should help you and also if you search through the forums you will find quite abit of info about this

Has anyone found that this has major bug issues in Firefox - it made my flash movie disappear!

Well, that new procedure has certainly made our jobs a bit harder. I notice for certain tweens the Flash object (pre-click) will get the hall of mirrors effect if you scroll the page.
