strange thing happens 2 me, so i hope somebody knows the answer. I’m pretty newbie in flash and i’m working on one site which has some fla elements.
problem: i made a movie, i made html doc, i do preview in ie and when i put my mouse over flash movie i got border around it and message "Click to activate and use this control"
what tha f that means? :h:
maybe is some option is checked in flash or ie, i don’t know. so if somebody knows what is it about plz help 'couse i’m loosing it. :red:

From what I can gather, this is a result of some new ie and/or windows update. As far as I know, there’s nothing you can do to fix flash files from other sites, but if you click [U][COLOR=red]here[/COLOR][/U], you can read about how to fix this problem for your flash files.

as Shadownetspy show me thread about this issue i made it work, but, unfortunaly there is always but, after uploading file and generating script, border around flash movies dissapeard and i was happy. 4 short time because now some pc’s see flash movies and some don’t. so naturaly Q is: what happend? is it .js file, or something else?

It’s probably a player issue. In the tutorial the code that is generated is for flash 8 player.
Look in this line
var fo = new FlashObject("http://www.kirupa.com/swf/headerv2b.swf", "animationName", "765", "58", "8", "#FFFFFF");
change the “8” (player8) to the version you want.
