Client = Happy!, Me = Uninspired?

Hello all,

I’m working on this site for a painting company and the client loves what I’ve done so far and wants to add a 10 to 15 second intro. I have no ideas and I’m feeling quite uninspired at the moment. Any ideas? He wants me to incorporate ‘Painter Plus’ and “The Name You Trust!” into the intro.

Also, I’d like to hear your comments or ideas on what I’ve got so far.

just do some sort of reveal of their logo with the paint roller you already have done…

it’s a nice site PR…

question tho: is there a reason you trace bitmap’d the brush, rather than using an image? everything else is raster’d, then the brushes look kinda out of place being vector is all… plus it bumps up the file size considerably.

Hey Rev, the traced bitmap of the brush is actually 2kb and the original pic is 3kb. I only traced it cause I was getting a pixelated look on the original pic when I tweened it. If you look closely at the brush on the home page it starts off kinda pixely when it rotates.

Thanks for the advice. I think I will get rid of the vector brush.

Btw what does ‘PR…’ mean?

Where is everyone?

This really sucks! Everything I’m coming up with for an intro really sucks! billmarrs mouse falls off wheel

I’m at the point where I think I’ve done everything I can do with a paint brush.

I’m getting desperate. That’s it I’m getting a beer.

Who wants cyber drink with me at 3pm on a friday rather than work?

Synpal. I think the idea you have is great. I’m not exactly sure I know how I’ll do it but I’ll definitely give it a try. I’d like to have the paint spatter onto the screen as if it was flicked. This sounds like a challenge but I think the effort will be worth it. If all goes well my client will be even moreso blown away.
