Hello kirupans!
I come to you all with a couple of questions about a website I just found called CLOSED. I’ve never heard of the apparel company before, but they have a killer Flash-based website with an amazing display of their product photography.
Now, being a part-time professional photographer, this kind of site is something I’ve always wanted to create, but there are a couple of things they do that leave me baffled.
[]First off, they display their photos in a big, beautiful format. And they do it without any kind of scaling-artifacts. Is there a particular image format one should use to create these large images without scaling artifacts? My raw images come out of the camera at about 4200x2800 pixels, so I can definitely produce large images without having to stretch them.
[]Second, and probably most obviously, they have a killer full-screen format. Can anyone point me to some info on how they pull that one off?
That’s all for now folks. Thanks in advance for your answers!
