I’ve had code-media.com bookmarked for quite some time as I really think it’s a brilliant piece of Flash usability. One thing I’ve been trying to figure out though is how he set up the interaction between the navigation and the load mc/shape tween in the content area.
I can understand loading the mc with the shape tween and content. What I don’t understand is when you click another button…how it reverses the shape tween, then loads another clip. The way I’m thinking is that each nav button must have some actionscript on it that checks which clip is loaded, then directs it to, say, a frame label in the mc called “exit” or whatever, which plays a reverse version of the tween. Then on the final frame of the clip…it loads the new movie clip in the same level. Is this right? Anyone have any ideas?
