At first I had it way more yellow, but it didnt show up really on my monitors - I liked it, but it was a bit much on other screens… I finished toning it down, how does this look to you guys??
C&C on anything else would be welcome, though there isnt much there yet!
I like the header, and bg, overall it looks good
The yellow withe the tiny text makes it really hard to read. I like the image of the tree but maybe you could try leaving the pic with its original colors and make the text darker.
You could ad somthing to the footer too.
Everything else is really good.
I’ve made the text easier to read, for some reason I had it sitting at 60% alpha… Im still not sure it is going to be the font I use for the content… I definitly want to use it in the menu - but I go back and forth re the rest of the site.
As for the footer I agree, Im thinking of/looking for something to add to it, I dont want it to really jump out at you or anything, as it isnt important - but just a little something there would be nice.
Yeah Im gonna loose the image in the footer… as far as the yellow goes, YUP! very yellow! I tried to use a washed out yellow so it would be pleasant to view. Is it still too bright or is it subdued enough? It looks fine on my end, but that can be misleading.
And I am going to be adding some oranges and red with the content to complete the whole “sunset feel”
Its like that because his resolution is set so high, (1600 X 1200 I think it is). It is designed for 1024 X 768 and lower. I dont think many 40-somethings are sitting at their homes browsing the net for luxury condos in cozumel with a designers monitor settings
what happens when your next client has a big resolution (btw 1280x1024, which isn’t even the highest) and doesnt hire you cuz your sites don’t work on all monitors.
eh what the he11… I changed it, I think it should work on higher res systems, I cant verify this from here, so if one of you pixel freaks (:P) could Id appreciate it. Thanks guys!
