Combo attacks

I know ive been doing a lot of posts lately but i hav a lot of quesions anyways ive lookd through the forum for combo attacks and on the internet but havn’t found anything about how to code combo moves can sum1 just give me a script of how to code if the user presses DOWN,LEFT, SPACE for instance other than using the if(key.isdown(key____) and… should i use a timer or how should i go about doing it a good game with combos would b like blood rage can sum1 help me?
