if anyone could please help i would greatly appreciate it as i have exhauseted myself by searching then net and reading tutorial after tutorial with no luck in acheiving what i need.
i need help with using a combo box component. i have a list of states that i populate the combobox with using an array. i want the user to be able to select a state in the combo box and when they hit continue an external swf is loaded into a container that has a form that is more extensive. what i want to happen is that state they selected from the previous page be “remembered” in the new swfs combo box (which is exactly like the combo box on the prevois ‘page’) then when they hit ‘submit’ it is ‘posted’ using php.
i apologize if i am asking this incorrectly or my question is too vague. please advise on where i can learn more about sending and loading data into combo boxes using XML,PHP or … etc.
