I finally figured out why I haven’t been able to access the comp.lang.python newsgroup: Comcast no longer supports newsgroups. I really wouldn’t care, except that Python’s only official discussion forum is the comp.lang.python newsgroup. I try to connect to a newsgroup for the first time, and the service has already been terminated. I feel cheated! Is anybody else outraged about this, or does nobody use newsgroups anymore?
