Hello everyone!
Id like to build my own comments box - Im not a great scripter, but have decided it might be easier for me to learn from stratch than to try to work through the tens of tutorials Ive downloaded - none of which I can get to work!
All I want is a input area for people to leave a comment - perhaps with their name & email. It would be great to be able to moderate rude words - but that bit could wait!
It needs to run through a txt file/php since Ive even less idea about mySQL than AS! - & the site is currently AS2, so it needs to join in with that…
Any ideas about where to start? - decent tutorial links? - anyone got an example I could look at, with a couple of “hints” - (I dont expect anyone to give me oodles of code - just some friendly pointers about getting started)
