Communicating from one swf to the other on same page?

Hi can anyone advise me on how to go about communication from one swf file to the other on the same page. Is this even possible.

For example on the main flash panel I might instruct for something to hapen in the second swf file at the footer.

Any ideas and direction This would be most useful.

Yes it’s quite possible. You should use “LocalConnection”.
