this is day-3 for me and i’m stumped.
problem: when my AS3 Container movieclip loads up a swf that containes CS3 components, all the components lose their font types. (Component button, list, combobox, and textArea)
Of course, when i run the SWF directly, it works fine.
i’ve only got 1 font type in the SWF (Verdana) and dont mind if i embed it within the SWF at this point. Of course however, components dont have an ‘Embed’ option in parameters and adding the font to the SWF library directly didnt help either.
Am i possibly barking up the wrong tree here? is it not a font problem but something else?
I’m beginning to doubt my conclusions and could really benefit from your thoughts out there.
