hey guys when i turned on my computer today i got a black screen and white font saying “windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: WINDOWS/SYSTEM32/CONFIG/SYSTEM”
i need to fix this. i have files on my computer that i want back. also on the same screen it tells me to go to windows recovery and i did and the page froze. i pop in my windows cd, wait for all that junk to load, and i press R to go to recovery console. i go there and than a page comes up asking “which directory would you like to choose?” so i click 1 and the whole page freezes and doesnt go anywhere else, please help.
