I just had a question, there are front ports on the case. How am I going to hook those up to the motherboard? (If I were to buy it, which I have a slight chance.)
Yeah I never understood the universal hate of Western Digital, my two WD drives have served me extremely well.
Actually, in general I’ve been extraordinarily lucky with hardware failure… the only thing that’s showed signs of failure on me have been one DVD drive and one Pocket PC. Oh and an LCD that got replaced for free.
true, thats the trade off. The same reason people pay $300 more for a video card that is .01% better than it’s competitor
I’d get a beefier PSU. 420W might have problem sometimes. Go with 550W. Also me personally, I’d buy an AMD. And 2 gigs of RAM. 2 gigs of RAM is really the way to go.
It’s becoming a common template but this is what I recommend to anyone with a new PC. AMD Dual Core 3800+ or higher with 2GB DDR (Corsair, Kingston or OCZ), LG or Pioneer DVD. The only thing I credit you for is the Seagate lol.
I am not up to date with the new m’boards but you should get at least 480W.

Seeing that Pentium D 800MHz CPU there kinda made me cringe, tho… Can’t you find any decent AMD microATX boards?
