Conflict with Mozilla Firefox

[FONT=monospace]Hello,

 I created my website 'roy-trainer.com' using Pro8. It works fine in IE but when i check it in Mozilla all I see in the browser are 2 yellow brackets and my email address.

Do i need to enter some kind of action scripting code so it can be viewed?

Thank You.

I am seeing it fine in fireFox, try right clicking it and seeing what version of the flash plug-in you have for Mozilla, IE and Mozilla do not share the same flash plug-in…but it should have prompted you if you didn’t have it…

ummm, well anyway, I can see it fine on my end using firefox and IE, goodluck

It looks fine on my FireFox as well. Nice site.

Works fine for me too, with player 8 for FF.

And Roy is a scary looking dude. :pa:

Hey clueless. I think Malidia was right. You have the latest version of the flash player on one IE but not on Firefox. With that information I can be sure you are not using a detection script.

Bad Roy! Bad! Shoe Shoe!

hehe, J/k. But seriously it is important to have a detection script. Otherwise after all of your hard work, people will say “this site is junk” and never come back. You don’t want that do you? Of course not! I strongly suggest teh flash original script. THe flash 8 script is said to be very good.

Here is some valuable information for you: http://www.macromedia.com/devnet/flash/articles/fp8_detection.html

EDIT: I have a detection script on Http://u2xs.com. Check my site on your browsers. For the one that didn’t work so well, it will tell you that you do not have the latest version rather than display the site badly
