How can you draw data from other peoples’ existing databases? For example, http://amaztype.tha.jp/ can access amazon’s book covers and finance.yahoo.com can acess stock quotes. It would be a pain in the @55 to scour all the images/data themselves to recreate their own database, so they’ve drawn data from existing database (I suppose). So is some directory out there that allows you to access shared databases?
