From what I can see predefining the position of a mouse pointers initial location is not possible…can anybody confirm this or suggest an alternative?
Basically I have a swf, its movement is controlled by the distance the users mouse is away from the centre of the swf stage (similar technique used in many scrolling galleries)…
My problem is that when the user initially acceses my site the pointer is set to top left (default)…as far as I can see this can not be altered apart from by the user.
I want to be able to control my swf, either by creating some kind of html, javascript or AS3 code that will not start my swf until the user enters or mouse overs my movie?
or by making sure the the pointer is centered initially?
check out my page to see what I mean.
Any pointers (excuse the pun!!) are greatly appreciated!
Cheers.
