Hi all,
I have an image (about 30 individual, opaque light bulb shapes in a grid array, grouped as an mc) tweening from about 3000x3000 to 700x700, with a 100 ease. The problem is that the animation gets choppy as the image gets smaller and the ease takes affect.
I was wondering how I can successfully change all those individual lightbulbs into a single image (tiff, jpeg, png, I need suggestions here), and retain the crisp lines I had before, since everything else in the animation is vector. I assume this is the path to a smoother animation? I have tried to export just the lightbulbs to illustrator, but they change size (I was able to rescale it, however), and my main problem is that the final image (I tried a tiff) was sketchy around the edges!
Another question : is there a certain resolution that is maintained in the flash document (ie, 72, 150, 300) that I should match all my images to? A setting perhaps? Also, is there anything I should be doing in the publish settings to help with the choppy-ness?
Thanks for your help!
