Could it be bugs bunny? i donk know

i found a big nest of 7 baby bunnies in my back yard last night. Well, i didnt, my dog did. She scared away the mother. We went outside to see what all the noise was and we saw my dog chasing after it. thats when we discovered the nest.

When i came home today from work, i went back to check on them in my yard. I noticed that one of them came out and fell asleep just out side its nest. i did grab a few pics. here they are…

(he is alive, just sleeping)

(the nest, and the bunny besides it)

(inside the nest)

i had to open the nest to put the other bunny in. so i took a picture while i had the chance.

I’m suprised your dog didn’t eat the bunnies. :sure:

Sooooooooo cute.

oh she tried to, but we told her to drop it and she did. now when she goes out, we go with her also.

:m: :{

Cute bwunnies :b:

You take care of those! shakes fist

:stuck_out_tongue:

Did the mother come back?

i think so, when i came home around 12 last night, i saw a few bunnys in the yard next to me.

we check on them every now and then, make sure there is not any birds, squirrls, or cats having a buffet.

Keep us updated!

You should leave them alone just incase the mother comes back. I mean it’s better if they grow a little bigger from their mother’s milk instead of what you buy at the store.

But who knows. If you find ducks nearby…whoo. Daffy is back!

we are not feeding them, we are just making sure that they dont get killed.

Yea good idea :).

That’s a nice thing you are doing alex

heh that’s awesome :thumb:

i want a backyard so i can have bunnies to! not fair!
hehe

thats are some nice bunnies, take good care of them
do they feel comfrtable around you?

awwwww Im so jealous, I wuv bunnies!!!

they are cute like my dog! (apologies for thread hijack)

ya man take care of those. thats awesome. thats crazy 7 baby bunnies. lol. i hope the mother takes care of them.

@billystar haha nice dog man

lol all the bunnies in my yard hide in the thorns from our sheltie who cases them and barks at them but i’m worried about our big dof who mothers small animals till they die from not having enough oxygen becuase they are being licked continusly till they die

but i think all the animals got smart and learned going into the fence means death

good hjob on taking care of the bunnies

That is so incredibly cute. I had to go hug my dogs and tell them not to chase bunnies. I think my big dog would be terrified if she saw one anyway :sigh:

well i just found out that they have been in that exact spot for 3 weeks or so. My dad remembers seeing that grassy area, but didnt think it was anything while mowing the lawn.

:!:

:frowning: And you’re surprised they’re still laying there ;(

they are all still moving, but with a little less fur…

j/k

lol
