Couldn't dispaly my flash-enabled website on Netscape

couldn’t display my flash-enabled website on NE
any ideas why I couldn’t display my flash-enabled website on Netscape? The website can be seen on Internet Explorer. Any idea why? are there any solutions to make the flash-enabled website appear on Netscape? I cannot afford to ignore it coz my school will deem my project to be failed completely even if it is sophiscated in terms of its technology.

do u need to take a look at my html source? my html source is very simple!

Did you use the Export movie function or publish? If you just did Export movie and wrote your own code, you might try using publish instead…
It might be how the embed and object tags are set up.

Just a thought.

make sure your netscape plugin is up to date. If you published
the flash movie in Flash 6, and netscape has v5 of the plugin, it
will just appear to be blank.

just a thought as well.

ya, i used both methods -

  1. publish it as a html page in flash
  2. export it as a swf and put the swf in dreamweaver.

but it cannot be displayed on NE.

I am using NE ver 4.7.

so how?

As unflux said, update your flash player in netscape, u must have something lower than v.6
should work, cos it happened to me once

sonnzy, u mean that i should update to NE ver 5? do you think that it will not be fair to some people who are using ver 4 or less…? :slight_smile:
got any solutions? If no, never mind.
