Hey guys,
My cousin called me up on the weekend to ask for some help with his dialup connection. Even though I’m studying computer science I can’t help him (how embarrassing! :whistle: ) because I don’t know too much about dial up seeing as we haven’t had it for years. Apparently it was unplugged because he was using it too much and when he tried to plug it back in, nothing works. Also, in the house there are 2 other computers. Not networked but they all dial the same number to connect. What’s strange is, he said that when he plugged the phone cord into the wall, none of the other computers could dial up, even though they work fine when that plug isn’t plugged into the wall.
Any of you master dial up wizards know what’s happening?
