sounds really simple, and I’m sure it is, but for the life of me I can’t figure it out.
I’m making a portfolio, and when you click on an item, the screen fades, and a gallery appears. I have it so that if you click the background, the screen fades in, and the gallery disappears.
However, even though the gallery is on top of the click-able background, I can still click through (on the images, general background etc).

click on the monitor to show the gallery (and the awful transition so far!)
is there a way to make the items more, I dunno, substantial?
**also, ignore how it is positioned, I’ve yet to try and make it proper full screen, and it seems my first attempt didn’t really work
