Crack my Flash

Trust me if the makers of flash cant stop people from being able to rip swf, what make you think you can

i just have some ideas

i’ll get back to you soon with this. Don’t think it’ll work though ;(

what i want to do is to control the movies’ “distribution”

later i’ll figure out the rest

You could also implement a quick encryption/decryption algorithm for your “hidden” filenames, such as md5. :asian:

Here’s a page with various algorithms already translated into a Actionscript 2.0 class set. Hope this helps ya’ll.

if you could ellaborate, mate? :puzzle:

Sorry, if the link was bad. Here’s the page I wanted to give ya’ll.

Basic example: You can encrypt the string of a filename, and decrypt the string before loading the file. This might be useful to hide the actual location of mp3 files being played through a site.

This should be effective if the source isn’t viewable. PHP or some other scripting language is the better bet, since it is hidden.

but it’s really simple to decode the encoded string… the same way it was encoded

So, the source is readable. That’s retarded. nm then. flash sucks at security. don’t trust it.

not completely… there’s hope, but i need to get to my computer (@ home @ the moment, mym moms’ laptop :/) and we’ll see
