Crazy masking

I have some basic masking on my website, but I’ve seen some sites with some crazy masking going on.

When transitions occur they don’t just mask in using straight lines. Sometimes the masks seem like they have crazy shapes or they morph in real time. They sometimes slow down and then speed up again. How is this acomplished?

I’m not sure this post even makes sense!I:-)

well your mask is a movie clip.
Try animating this movie clip to see outstanding effects…

why the heck didn’t I ever think of that? It’s so simple. So are you just saying that I should animate the object that is acting as my mask?

yeppers… make your movie as wild and crazy as you want, use it to mask.
