hey guys… i’m somehow a flash noob… so please treat me kind 
alright… i got the following problem:
i did the tutorial mentioned above without any problems… everything worked as it was sposed to… (thx to the author)
but… as i realy want to do my own flash page i tried to create a navi menu like in the tutorial all on my own… when i convert the navigation movie to .swf everything works fine… the buttons are animated and everything…
but… and thats my problem: when i import the navi.swf into my main.fla (this is my main flash file… the background) and then convert this to main.swf the buttons dont work anymore… they behave just like simple text…
well i supose i figured out the problem… when i import the navi.swf the buttons already arent buttons anymore !!! that means in the main.fla i cant edit them as buttons anymore (in the tutorial i could)… when i double click it looks like it would be a group ?!.. ok… maybe this is because the buttons are more complex… the “over” function is a movie… its animated…
so… any sugestions what i do wrong…??
