Ok so I am creating a new website, which is going to have various content (Games, movies, videos pictures, text features and loads of other stuff) on it. Ive made plenty of sites before (example ), but all of these are static or flash based sites.
With this new site I am going to need to base it around a database, unless I want to change 100+ pages everytime I make any layout changes, and manually change the most popular pages. The thing is, I have no experience with doing this and have no idea where to start. I have a fairly decent knowledge of html, and I have already bought hosting, which I know supports MySQl databases.
So, where do I start?
Here are some features I want the site to include:

[]An easy way of creating new pages, for example, If i have a new flash movie, I want to be able to upload the movie and its description without having to make a new html page.[/LIST][LIST]
[]A list of the newest pages (or “submissions”) on the front page, and on the “features” page, a list of the 25 newest submissions and the 25 most popular submissions.[/LIST][LIST]
[]On each of the submissions pages, have the amount of times it has been viewed (easy to do I know, but this will need to be linked somehow with the list of 25 most popular submissions)[/LIST][LIST]
[]possibly some other things.[/LIST]Does anyone know where I should start? Are there any good tutorials online which will help me through the process? I would really appreiciate any help anyone could give me.
