I was wondering whether you could help me. I’ve been assigned the task of creating some flash banners which will be placed on the daily telegraph website.
They have provided the specs that I need to follow and for the first time I’ve discovered this whole primary 30kb movie which then loads a secondary 100k once their site has loaded fully. Being knew to all this I’ve searched on the theory behind it all… and found this…
Problem is, I have no idea how to actually implement this and I cant find anything on the web.
I can understand that you have to load a second swf into the initial loaded one through a movie clip but I cant understand how this is triggered? The banner has to be told in some way that the website has fully loaded so that it can then switch to the rich media file.
Does anyone know of any tutorials or a piece of code that’s floating around which could be relevant?
