Critique on rough

Righ, as some of you might know I did an illustration a couple of days ago , but being a novice I did not get too many positive responses.Just to remind you here is the work I did first

NOW HERE IS A MORE RECENT PIECE.HOPEFULY MY TECHNIQUE HAS IMPROVED.ANYWAY ITS JUST A ROUGH AT THE MOMENT.LOOKING FORWARD TO YOUR RESPONSES

Your recent work was a vast improvement from the first but you might want to clean it up a little. The eyes need more work done on them maybe define thier boundaries a little more.

The technique is sound and you got the shading right.

need to know any places I can find good brush tutorials , thats one of the areas I really need to work on

wow, this is really good. I got mate who can do this sort of illustrator work. I always wanted to learn this… CAN YOU PLEASE GUIDE ME TO SOME TUTORIALS?
