I have created an rss feed that populates a Flash file. I am hosting this demo rss feed on the domain name server I have access to. What allows me to pull this rss feed into the servers the Flash file is hosted on is a cross domain policy file.
Knowing that asking a client to implement a cross domain policy file themselves could run into technical issues for them, are there any hacks to trick Flash into accepting an rss feed across domains?
Or is there a client side way to go out and retrieve that rss feed, so I don’t have to explain sandbox security to clients that are not very technical?
