I’ve just moved from Windows XP development environment to a Mac Pro with CS3. One bug that is making me nuts is that if I “Test Movie” and the preview window opens, if I don’t close the window manually after I edit my ActionScript the new edits to movie are not reflected in the test window. So I have to manually close the preview window before hitting control-enter. If I do that everything is fine.
But if I leave the window open, as I have for all prior versions of Flash, and hit control-enter, it just plays the previous edit.
Another developer I know using Flash 8 on a Mac Pro reports to me that his preview window on “test movie” updates automatically like normal. He can edit his ActionScript, relaunch with control-enter and his latest edit previews.
Is this just me, or a toggle I’m missing? Or is this a bug. Any light on the subject greatly appreciated.
