Custom Component Parameters

Hi,

I created a custom component followed the process described in article: http://www.flashbrighton.org/wordpress/?p=31

It seems to work ok apart from two issues.

  1. I can’t see the custom parameters I added in the parameters panel. Is this possible at all and if it is any guidance? Articles, tutorials, tips, whatever.

  2. I created my component by using the Button component (since I only need some extra functionality to that). It works ok but I had to add a second Component Shim. So the resulting component has 2 Component Shims in it. Is this the way it’s meant to be?
