I’m currently planning on buying another ~15" laptop to replace my Dell Studio XPS, and every single one of them from all of the major manufacturers looks like it is designed for little kids with curved corners and weird colors. Even Dell’s new XPS line looks further away from the really nice design its predecessors had.
To pre-empt the Mac comment, I could get another Macbook Pro, but the resolution on the 15" only goes up to 1680x1050. I need this one to be at least 1920x1080 since it will be my primary machine.
Do you all have any suggestions on which models I should take another look at? I primarily looked at the Dells, HPs, Samsungs, and Lenovos.
