There is an effect you use with cameras that is called “deep focus” (or on the lines of that). The effect is basically this: An object or character is being focused on in the background and the objects in front are blured (or out of focus). I have seen this technique in flash cartoons also, but I have always wanted to know how to do it. Can anyone explain, IN A STEP BY STEP PROCESS, how to do this in flash. I need to use it for my next cartoon.
Thanks,
