I’ve been searching around and I can’t seem to find any tutorials that that can help me make a blurring effect using only Flash MX 2004. They all seem to incorporate Photo Shop.
Basically I want to make a blurring effect in flash, and using flash alone. My inspiration came from the blurring effect as seen in the ‘Strongbad goes to Jail’ cartoon at www.homestarrunner.com .
Anyhow, my effect would be used to show an object far in the distance while the focus is on a closer object - then I would reverse the blur to make the focus on the object in the distance.
Any advice or explanations will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
