help pls…
everytime i try to type a text in photoshop using the text toolbox, a warning would appear saying a default system font could not be found…i am really confused as i have checked the ‘help’
guide and am still clueless…this problem only occurs on my laptop not on my desktop and i have checked every single font with my desktop, but its all the same
any suggestions? thnx in advanced
have you got a font program, something that handles your fonts on your laptop? Adobe type manager? suitcase?
err, im afraid i dun haf them, where to get them?
that is definitely strange, and i’ve never heard of such a thing.
Have you tried resinstalling the fonts?
Also, you are saying that you’re making a new text box, and not
opening an older one, right?

Well you probably dont need a font manager, but you can check it out at adobe site Adobe Type Manager it basically a app that holds all your fonts and you can manage them in particular folders.
Im guessing you using photoshop 5.5 or lower where you need to go to a text box area to type.(am i right?). seems like something has stuffed up your fonts. Like Unflux suggested reinstall your fonts, might be a quick fix situation, if pain persist get a hammer… lol…jk…
Put down the hammer…! :run:
