Hello all,
I’m building a flash presentation which will be distributed on CD-ROM.
One of the specs is that it needs to run fullscreen. So, the
presentation needs to be as crisp and clear on 800x600 as on
1280x1024. Luckily, there are (virtually) no bitmaps included, only
some video.
I’ve tried some different sizes and noticed a loss in quality when
viewing a 800x600 flash presentation on 1280x1024, which seems weird
as Flash uses vectors for drawings and text…
As I’ve always used flash embedded in a web browser and with fixed
dimensions, I’m not quite sure what the best practise is…
Would it be best to make a stage of 1280x1024 pixels and encode my
video on a high resolution which will scale down on smaller
resolutions or could I use a smaller workarea and smaller video?
Thanks!
Tim
